Sidney Feldman - Founder

It was a good thing Sidney's wife, Barbara convinced him to move back to Indianapolis in the early 1950's. Living in Virginia, Barbara was homesick and while Sidney was enjoying his career as a jewelry salesman, he was looking for something more.

Back in Indianapolis, Sidney partnered with his best friend, Gill to launch a new floor covering business and never looked back. Working day & night the business was off to a successful start. By the 1970's business was thriving. Sid's son, Stanley was helping out in the summers before going to college. Unfortunately Sidney's health was fading. Stanley came to work full time after finishing college in 1978, and eventually took over for his father. Sidney and Stanley continue working together growing Best Flooring into their vision of the best floor covering supplier and installer for Indianapolis' homebuilders.
